It's. a. give-away!

I've decided to open an etsy store.

Go ahead, click the logo and check it out.  My linking skills are impressive :)

I have wanted to do this for some time now.  You know, have an outlet for all my handmade treasures....but the task overwhelmed me a bit, so naturally I brushed it aside and busied myself with other things.

Well, last month when the kids and I began making pom poms, I knew it was time.  A cheap and easy way to try it out...and a good teaching lesson for the kids.  It's been a fun process to work through. Together we chose a name we are all happy with,  picked out colors, discussed packaging, used our math skills to figure out cost and pricing, and they all added their 2 cents while creating the logo.

As of now, we only have pom poms for sale....

....but I've got alot of ideas strewing about, so I'll keep you posted :) I would love to get back to making these....

Just for fun, and in honor of our "grand opening"  we'd like to give away 2 pairs of pom poms, your choice of color.

You may leave 2 comments- however, one comment must include one of your favorite things you like to shop for on etsy.   I'll choose a random winner next Wednesday 9pm-ish, and post :)
.
And since it appears about 10 people check this blog, you've got a really good shot at winning :)

P.S.  They make great stocking stuffers!

Have a blessed weekend friends

Dare I say I've never ordered anything off of Etsy. Although, Jamie said she got her cute knit hat from there with the flower on it . . . I really do need to check it out!

Way to go, Nat! Love the pom poms!

What don't I shop for on etsy? I love all things handmade. I get most of my fabric, like Cara. I love the hat I purchaed. I have bought many a note card on there. I just purchased a few ornaments for gifts. I tend to get mostly paper products. AND< even though I have no girl right now, a girl can dream that I will one day :-) I love the poms!

Hi Natalie,
I love to browse Etsy, but I've never actually purchased anything :-( I enjoy looking through the jewelry and I love textile arts. Anyway, my girls are too big to wear pom pom's now, but Missy's daughter would look adorable in them!

By the way, Nat, I love how you included all your kiddos in the project! I know Dylan never lacks for creative ideas :-)

Love Etsy.
My very first purchase was a funky laptop case for my Mac, and my most recent purchase was a personalized stamp. My favorite purchase so far has been the embroidered handprints of all of my kiddos. Please enter me into the drawing... love the poms and I need to get my girls' hair under control ;-)

Congratulations on your Etsy shop, Natalie! I love the name and logo and how you involved all of your kids.
I've never actually bought anything from Etsy, but I love looking at the jewelry and little girls' hair things. I'm just too indecisive to actually order anything :)
The pom poms are too cute!

Very fun pom poms, Natalie. Not sure where you find the 'extra' time to do this stuff. . . :) I love looking for little girls clothing on etsy. I got adorable ruffled diaper covers for the twins' one year photo shoot.
